post christmas detox: step 1 – before photos
So. How are you feeling today? Pleasant, thin, vital and energetic? …. Haha, me neither! Don’t you just hate the intoxicating power junk food has on your body to make you feel like utter crap?
After drinking, sugar, gluten, eggs and dairy, I look like this – 3 months pregnant. I don’t usually have major blow outs, but this year I guess was a little special. After being Wonder Woman all year, I crashed. I crashed bad and it reflected in my body. See!!!
For someone whose hip bones usually stick out, a bloated food baby is quite a surprise. A baby would be more of a surprise but I can assure you that belly is just full of espresso martinis, fruit cake and delicious delicious bread.
Although I’m a healthy person. I do believe if we have restrictions, or in my case, food intolerances, we tend to blow out. Badly.
I thought I would just share before and after photos today with a quick surprise video explaining it all and get down to the nitty gritty shortly. Who is on board with me? Babe land here we come!
First step of any health program? Photos. Yep, suck it up. You’ll thank me later. If you don’t like what you see. Just remember that from this point, you can only look better. Your body is a reflection of what you do with it. Whether you eat too much or too little, or even you move heaps or not enough. It will always be shown on the outside.
Your body is just feedback! So remember that when you take your pictures. Feedback, feedback, feedback. And what do we do with feedback? We can make a change.
BEFORE:

Rather than stepping on the scales and beating myself up with my weight, i’d rather go by photos and maybe weigh myself in a couple of weeks. Obsessional people throw your scales away! I am obsessive and scales can be as addictive and brutal as Dance Mom’s Miami!
I am nowhere near fat. To some people I am, to others I would be really thin. But for me, I’m uncomfortable. Stuff the opinion of anyone else, that’s their business.
On the journey to babe town, it’s all about the destination YOU want to go to. You also determine how quickly you want to get there. You are ultimately the driver of your own life. So take control and if you want to make a change, I guess join the rest of the population and make today your day!
Any moment of any day is the perfect time to make the change though. The dinner that you might have just eaten mightn’t be the best choice, but it still doesn’t mean that you should start next week and continue on a path that you aren’t happy on. So when you’re ready, take a leap of faith and know whatever goal you want to have with your body, you will get there.
So who is with me?!

I hope you have a great holiday detox and congratulations on the baby.
